Kevin Bateman

Associate Pastor

Since 2002, Pastor Kevin Bateman has served as the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Next City Church.

He has a passion for sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with all those he meets, whether at his home church or on the mission field.

He has coordinated and served on short term missions trips to Argentina, Malawi, Russia, and Zambia, to name a few.

Pastor Kevin currently resides in Queens, New York with his wife Heidi and their two children.

Sahara Smith

Children's Ministry Director

Sahara Smith, a native of Western New York, joined the Next City Church ministry team in 2022 to lead the NCC Kids Ministry.

After giving her life to Christ in 2017 and serving the Lord through children's ministry, Sahara realized the calling on her life to teach the next generation about Christ.

 In 2020 she received an associates degree in the Arts of Ministry, and is working towards her bachelor’s in Christian Leadership.
